White Glazed Stoneware Vessel by Brent Bennett
Brent Bennett was born in 1940 studied under Raul Coronel at UCSB, where he also worked with Laura Andreson. He founded Architectural Stoneware in 1969. The natural shapes that surface again and again on his work suggest leaves, fruits and blossoms, embodying the California indoor/outdoor aesthetic, where natural clays and glazes meet beautiful and refined forms. This work is dated from the 1960s.
